User Experience at American Express

UX RESEARCH

As a UX Researcher in the American Express Enterprise Digital team, my role involved:

  • running the UK usability lab (‘Rapid Labs’) on a monthly basis, establishing all documentation, processes and procedures,

  • supporting the global rollout of the new amex.com website in multiple markets, by carrying out remote testing,

  • managing dedicated projects from briefing to completing, by acting as a consultant in partnership with Amex vendors to identify insight needs from product owners, recommending methodology/ies accordingly and carrying out the required research.

 

UX DESIGN AND INNOVATION WORK

As a UX Designer with American Express's new UX & Innovation Lab, my role involved:

  • researching and presenting on the possible applications of new and emerging technologies, such as VR and AR.

  • working with innovation agency Uniform to research, ideate and create a new IoT product.

  • producing wireframes and high fidelity prototypes for new Amex products on an internal consultancy basis.
